Barbara Joubert is a food writer, recipe developer, stylist and professional caterer with over 30 years’ experience in the catering and journalism industries. She was the food editor of Sarie, one of South Africa’s leading consumer magazines, before beginning off-shoot Sarie Kos in 2007. A winner of the Galiova Award for Best Food Writer in South African, Barbara is also the author of three cookery books.
In November 2016 she left the magazine world to begin her own multi-service food venture with daughter Nina Brand, a digital communications expert.
