Cheese Puffs

Make these easy cheesy puffs with just 4 ingredients.

Serves about 40 pieces depending on how big you cut your blocks
Preparation time 15 minutes
Cook time 30 minutes


  • 1 sheet 400 g puff pastry
  • 150 g cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 45 ml crème fraÎche (sour cream)
  • 30 g parmesan cheese, finely grated

Preheat oven to 200 °C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Place pastry on surface. Mix cheddar cheese and crème fraÎche. Spread mixture on half of pastry and fold the remaining pastry over. Cut in blocks and place on baking tray. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over and place in oven. Bake for 30 minutes. Take out of oven and let cool for couple of minutes before serving.

  • 150 g cheddarkaas, fyngerasper
  • 45 ml crème fraÎche (suurroom)
  • 30 g parmasaankaas, fyngerasper

Verhit oond tot 200 °C. Voer ‘n bakplaat uit met bakpapier. Plaas deeg op werksvlak. Meng cheddarkaas en crème fraÎche saam in mengbakkie. Smeer mengsel op helfte van deeg en vou res van deeg oor mengsel. Sny in blokkies en plaas op bakplaat. Sprinkel parmasaankaas oor en plaas in oond. Bak vir 30 minute. Laat afkoel op afkoelrak vir ‘n paar minute voor jy dit voorsit.
