We offer two kinds of cooking classes – in your own kitchen, for 6 people.

Learn how to make your ravioli yourself
It’s not difficult to make home-made pasta – in fact, it’s easy and fun. This class is presented in your own kitchen. The class accommodates 6 people – so why don’t you ask 5 of your friends to join you in learning how to make pasta under the personal guidance of Barbara?

You and your friends will learn to make a pasta dish which they will take home to serve to their family for dinner. The dish serves 6 people.

Weekdays: 11:00 – 15:00
Saturdays:   12:00 – 16:00

Cost: R500 per person. This includes:

> Ravioli with a filling

Learn how to make French Macarons – make it yourself
Acquire the art to make this delicate French patisserie. There’s a secret to making it – and Barbara will show you how. This class is presented in your own kitchen. The class accommodates 6 people.

Born in the Karoo and brought up on homemade jams, flavourful bredies and freshly baked bread, Barbara brings her love of cosy comfort food to our kitchen this winter.

Barbara began her award-winning career as a food editor, stylist and recipe writer at Sarie − one of South Africa’s leading lifestyle magazines. She then went on to write three popular cookbooks, while also earning the Galiova Award for Best Food Writer in South Africa. Barbara is joined by her daughter Nina Brand as part of their new multi-service culinary venture. Together, they have designed a gourmet menu of hearty home-style dishes beautifully styled and fit for a winter feast.
